Donau
"Hey you, alky! How dare you touch my butt!"
Donau was a beautiful town on the northern coast of Tiberoa. It was here that the Queen Fury was stationed and for awhile, the town was over-run by the Gehrich Gang. The town was the main port to Mille Seseau but transports had been suspended due to the appearance of both the Ghost Ship and a Sea Dragon. By the time the party arrived, Donau had seen better days though it was still covered in beautiful blooming flowers. Lloyd also passed though the town though the party missed him. During this time, he saved the Third Sacred Sister Wink from bandits.
Meru's first appearance in the game involved her beating up three members of the Gehrich Gang. She accused them of touching her butt only to get upset when they say that would be like touching a child. It's obvious from the start that Meru is a spunky teenager.

"Are you maybe one of my groupies? Hmm, don't seem like it though."
Dart and the group arrived just as the gang members ran off. Meru was still in battle mode and threatened to beat them up as well. Rose was quick to ignore Meru and remind Dart that they were in a hurry to save Lynn.
It had turned out that Meru was also trying to do the same thing and she forced her way into the party in order to save Lynn. Rose likely knew Meru was a Wingly from the moment she had seen Meru but made no indication of this. The rest of the group noted that Meru looked like Lloyd however. They were also quick to note that she was nothing like Lloyd.
Meru informed the group that they needed permission from King Zoir before they could entered the Valley of Corrupted Gravity and decided to be their guide around Tiberoa. Dart had little choice but to agree. Meru refused to be left behind.
