final battle

Ending

"I was gonna give you a little tour, but I ended up coming all the way here. But, I was right. I was right in following Dart. I realized it. In this world, there are lots of people living with lots of thoughts. So that there are lots of fights. But there is happiness and joy as well. This is such an awesome world, I won’t let him destroy it. I’m totally ready to go!"

Meru took care of Shana before the final confrontation with Melbu Frahma. Fighting for the young girl's future, Meru was present when Rose and Zieg inflicted the final blow on Melbu Frahma and defeated the God of Destruction. With the Moon caught in a chain reaction, the Dragoons quickly head for the exit while the core begins to disintegrate around them. Kongol scooped Meru under one arm and was able to protect her from falling rocks with his great physical strength. Meru was still holding onto Kongol while they watched the Moon That Never Sets explode.

With the return of Meru and the events with the Divine Dragon, the Winglies of the Wingly Forest begin to realize there is no longer a need to protect from the world. While not perfect, humanity was willing to extend an open hand to their former overlords and build a world that could house both Humans and Winglies.

Guaraha was one of the first Winglies to leave the forest and explore a whole world once forbidden. With Meru as his guide the two make their way to Lohan, likely the first time for both of them. Cheerful and hyper as usual, Meru took a shortcut over some stair railings only to get run into by a pedestrian. Luckily her quick reflexes save an expensive vase and leave the crowd applauding her antics.

Meru was able to gain the acceptance of her family and people and free them from the outdated customs they had grown to obey without thought. They no longer needed to live in isolation because Meru wouldn't accept why they had to.
